Two people have died and many more are being treated for injuries after a horror crash closed a major road.
Emergency services were called to the Calder Highway at Carwarp, in northeast Victoria, following reports that a minibus collided with a tree at around 7.45am.
Two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, while the remaining eight passengers and the driver were rushed to hospital in various conditions.
Victoria Police confirmed the Calder Highway is expected to be closed between Kulkyn Way and Brownport Road for “several hours”.
