Despite scoring a team-high 30 points, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever fell to 1-7 on the season and have yet to win a home game after losing 84-75 to the Los Angeles Sparks.

In a battle between the top two overall picks in this year’s WNBA Draft, No. 1 overall Clark outperformed No. 2 overall Cameron Brink in every way except the win-loss column.

Brink scored just three points along with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks.

Meanwhile, Clark’s 30 points were joined by five rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks.

But Clark’s problems protecting the ball resurfaced as he racked up seven turnovers that night.

LA was led by Kia Nurse’s 22 points and a solid 21-point performance off the bench from Aari McDonald.

In addition to Clark, Aliyah Boston had 17 points and six rebounds for Indiana, while Kelsey Mitchell dropped 15 points.

The Fever have yet to win a home game, falling to 0-3 when playing at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
