Brisbane Broncos star playmaker Ezra Mam was subjected to a drug test by Queensland Police after he was involved in a car accident with an Uber driver on Friday afternoon.
Queensland Police and the NRL Integrity Unit are investigating the incident which left Mam hospitalized as a precaution. No one was seriously injured in the incident.
Mom was reportedly moving house at the time of the accident.
Police are awaiting the results of the roadside drug test. No accusations of wrongdoing have been made against Mam.

The Broncos star was hospitalized as a precaution and subjected to drug testing by Queensland Police.
“Police are investigating a road traffic accident between two vehicles in Bardon tonight, October 18,” QPS said in a statement.
‘Initial investigations indicate that at approximately 5:20 pm, a Ford Ranger utility vehicle was traveling northeast on Simpsons Road when it collided with a Toyota Camry, traveling in the opposite direction, near the intersection of The Drive.
‘Initial roadside drug tests were carried out on the driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old Ipswich man; however, police are awaiting results.
“No one was seriously injured and investigations continue.”
