Tom Selleck’s hit crime show Blue Bloods has ended for good.
The popular series, about a New York police commissioner, had an impressive 14-year run on CBS with 14 seasons.
The final season of the show is divided into two parts. The first part was broadcast in February with 10 episodes and the last eight episodes will be broadcast in the fall of 2024.
On Instagram, Tom’s co-star Donnie Wahlberg shared a short clip of himself arriving on set.
“I’m not sure I have the words to describe how I feel today, or the last 14 years on this special Blue Bloods journey, but I do know how incredibly grateful I am for every moment,” he wrote.
Blue Bloods became the second-longest-running scripted show on CBS behind NCIS (with 21 seasons).

Tom, 79, plays the character Frank Regan, alongside Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Vanessa Ray, Marisa Ramirez and Len Cariou.
The series premiered on September 24, 2010.
Blue Bloods centers on the Reagans, with Frank as the patriarch, and he is the police commissioner of the New York Police Department.
His son Danny, played by Donnie, is an NYPD detective and his other son, Jamie, played by Will, is an NYPD sergeant.
Frank’s daughter Erin, played by Bridget, is an assistant district attorney.
His son Joe was murdered by a corrupt police officer in the line of duty.
Tom shared an official statement last year regarding the end of Blue Bloods: “For the past 13 years it has been an honor and a privilege to work on a show that now only celebrates the men and women who protect and serve the city of New York, but also showed the importance of family.

CBS Entertainment and CBS Studios presidents Amy shared a joint statement to the outlet: “Blue Bloods will always be a beloved part of the CBS legacy.”
“It dominated Friday nights with unprecedented dominance since its premiere and established itself as a mainstay of our winning programming with an exceptionally devoted fan base.”
They added: “We will be forever grateful to the legendary Leonard Goldberg for developing this iconic series and to the incredible cast led by Tom Selleck, whom America embraced like family and saw as welcome guests at Reagan’s dinner table.”

Now that the show is over, Tom will hopefully be spending more time at his California ranch with his wife Jillie Mack, 66.
“He wants to relax at his ranch, walk around his property, spend time with his wife and family and travel a little,” a source said. Nearest Magazine.
‘Tom and Jillie can just stay home, cook, go for a long walk and be very happy. He adores Jillie and trusts her to schedule activities or travel plans.
“He’s looking forward to having more free time to spend with her.”
A source has said that Tom will hopefully now spend more time at his ranch with his wife Jillie Mack, 66. Seen in 2017.
“He wants to relax at his ranch, walk around his property, spend time with his wife and family and travel a little,” a source told Closer magazine.
Tom lives on a 65-acre home near Ventura, California, where he grows avocados.
He told Closer that his wife is the center of his world: “Jillie has this kind of joie de vivre, this effervescent quality that just lights up a room.”
He and Jillie have a close relationship with their daughter Hannah, 35, who is an accomplished equestrian.
The source said: ‘Tom is very close to Hannah and is very proud of her competitive horse show jumping career.
“He hopes Hannah finds love and has children, but he’s not the kind of father who puts pressure on it.”
Tom’s first book, his memoir ‘You Never Know’, will be published on May 7, but the source said it won’t be a kiss-and-tell book.
They said, ‘It’s not a tell-all gossip in Hollywood. ‘He’s sharing his experiences (in show business) (and stories about how he met) some big stars and how they affected him, and what he learned.’
