Beau Ryan received several rude comments after sharing an innocent tribute post to his new TV co-host.
The football legend turned media personality, 39, took to Instagram on Tuesday to express his gratitude for his Top Gear Australia co-star Jonathan LaPaglia ahead of the show’s new episode airing on Friday.
However, fans and bots seemed to pay more attention to the first photo in the series of snaps which featured a snap of a shirtless Beau showing off his chiseled abs and fit physique.
‘How much does it cost?’ one bot wrote, while another added “Who wants?” with a tongue emoji.
“I bet he’s blessed in all areas too,” one user said alongside an eggplant emoji.
Beau Ryan received several rude comments after sharing this shirtless photo.
One user shared his disappointment over the couple’s relationship status.
“Too bad that they are both heterosexual, they would make a very powerful couple,” they commented.
In his post, Beau wrote a long tribute to his co-host and their time together on Top Gear Australia.
‘I have always admired JLP from afar as a host. I respected his talent,’ he captioned his post.
‘But working with him day in and day out, I really got to know him. The kind of husband he is, the kind of dad, how he operates as a host and I got to know him on a deeper level as a friend. The boy loves his family and works hard for them. He is a talented actor and prepares like a professional every day.’
He added: “Everyone who knows us both now knows that we are inseparable.”

It comes after Beau worried fans about his new noticeably slimmer look.
Earlier this month, pictures of the former NRL star turned TV presenter attending the launch of his new show TopGear Australia showed him visibly slimmer.
His dark blue shirt hung loosely on his body, while his pants seemed to billow around his legs.
His face also looked strikingly different, with his jaw more pointed and pronounced.
It comes after fans raised concerns about Beau (left) after he stepped out looking much slimmer at the TopGear Australia premiere earlier this month.
Ryan’s new look caused several fans online to speculate about his health.
One alarmed fan commented: ‘Because what happened to Beau Ryan?’, while another asked: ‘Is he on Ozempic?’
Daily Mail Australia contacted Ryan for comment at the time.
Ryan previously admitted that he struggles to gain weight when he can’t make time for the gym.

“I lost weight in the race and I’m slowly gaining it back, but I still look a little skinny,” he shared.
‘I like weights. “I lose weight quickly, which is torture if you’re a rugby league player trying to gain weight, so gaining muscle is what I’m looking for,” he said.
Beau, who used to play rugby league for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and Wests Tigers, said he has always struggled with maintaining muscle mass.
Beau explained that he usually eats a diet rich in protein and fat, which helps keep his energy levels high.
‘I follow a diet rich in proteins and fats. “We burn a lot of calories in our house, especially trying to keep up with my son Jesse,” he joked.
