Barron Trump, 18, graduated from Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida, in May and is now a freshman at New York University.

It’s hard to blend into a crowd when you’re six feet tall.

Add to that the fact that you are the son of a former president, you are flanked by a secret service team and you are driven to school in a caravan of SUVs with all the windows tinted.

Barron Trump was always going to be the biggest noise on campus no matter how he tried to act.

Now, a video obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com has provided a glimpse into the very unusual student life of the 18-year-old New York University freshman.

With his backpack slung over one shoulder and his style low-key and casual – polo shirt, slacks and this season’s must-have sneakers, Adidas Gazelles – Barron, who began his studies at the prestigious Stern School of Business earlier this month, is doing his best to look like any other student as he embarks on the fall semester.

But if the social media comments that leave him breathless and declare him “beautiful” are any indication, he’s quickly establishing himself as the hottest guy on campus.

As Donald Trump’s youngest son, he is used to having Secret Service agents following his every move.

As revealed by DailyMail.com, Barron spent his high school years at the prestigious Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach with agents by his side and his college life is set to be no different.

Clearly visible in this video, his group of agents escort him through the halls and lecture halls of New York University, a constant presence several steps ahead of him and several steps behind.

According to a classmate, Barron’s guards were forced to turn away some more curious students seeking a selfie with their famous classmate.

The student told DailyMail.com: “Some people tried to talk to him and take photos of him when they first saw him. So far he has been quiet in class.”

‘There were several guards outside the door before class and we had to show them our IDs.’

Students have previously complained about the intrusion that the extra security could cause into their daily lives, as everyone is forced to present a valid student ID to enter campus and lines form to enter the business school.

But if the Trump team had any concerns that Barron might be the target of hostility at the notoriously liberal school, it seems they need not have worried, since, as one student put it, “No one wants to bother him or harass him. I wish him the best in college.”

The former president first shared the news of Barron’s college choice with DailyMail.com saying: “It’s a very high-quality place. He liked it. He liked the school.”

Trump, 78, also revealed that his son considered his father’s alma mater, the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, before ultimately opting for New York University.

“I went to Wharton and it was definitely an option we were considering. We didn’t go for it. We went with Stern,” he said.

“He’s a very talented child, but he’s not a child anymore. He’s just moved on to something more than childhood. He’s doing very well.”

But even though he is no longer a child, Barron’s decision to attend a college that will allow him to continue living in his father’s home, Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan, greatly pleased his mother, Melania, 54.

Melania, who is fiercely protective of her son, has a desire to keep him close and this is understood to have influenced Barron’s decision-making process.

His father told DailyMail.com that Barron may well follow his passion for football – he was once spotted wearing an Arsenal shirt at the White House and played midfield for a local DC league when he was younger.

As a child and teenager, Barron had the added security of being enrolled at Oxbridge Academy under the pseudonym “Jack.”

It is unclear whether similar measures have been taken to protect Barron’s student record and grades from any security breaches at New York University.

Only 1 in 20 applicants to New York University’s Stern School of Business are successful; tuition for the undergraduate program starts at about $62,700 per year and class sizes range from 45 to 100 people.

Barron, who has been described as bright and charismatic by his high school peers and who has expressed his own political ambitions, must complete a cohort leadership program and a business and culture class in his first semester.

You will recover your credits by studying microeconomics, statistics, global cultures, natural sciences, or an elective course during your fall classes.

According to sources, Barron has not yet signed up for any extracurricular activities and skipped the ‘Stern Spotlight’ event in the first week of school, which showcases clubs and societies.

Barron also skipped the first week of homecoming festivities as he tried to keep a low profile outside of class.

He can often be found sitting quietly in Stern’s student lounge between classes and has been attending in-person lectures two days a week for his business course.

Barron is Melania and Trump’s only child, born a year after their wedding in 2005. He spent his early childhood in New York before moving with his father’s presidency to Washington DC.

Before moving, she took her entire class at New York’s Columbia Middle and High School on a tour of the White House in 2017, the year her father took office.

He then attended St Andrew Episcopal School in Maryland and played for DC United’s under-12 soccer team, where he met the franchise’s biggest star, former England striker Wayne Rooney.

During his father’s presidency he remained largely out of the spotlight but, as DailyMail.com was told, throughout his teenage years he has quietly developed into a handsome and charming young man.

The student told DailyMail.com that she felt bad that Barron had inherited the media attention and that her mother was trying to get her to marry him.

In May, she hosted Iranian-American business magnate and podcaster Patrick Bet-David for a fancy dinner at her father’s home, Mar-a-Lago, in Florida.

Bet-David, who is worth $450 million, later told listeners of his PDB podcast that his young host was “sharp, funny, sarcastic, tough, not weak.”

Barron appeared at a Trump campaign rally on July 9 in Miami, where he confidently imitated his father’s clenched-fist pose and received a standing ovation.

He was not present four days later when gunman Thomas Crooks attempted to assassinate his father, but, Trump has revealed, he watched the horrific events unfold live on television.

He did not attend the subsequent Republican National Convention, but received a shout-out from his father at the July 18 event when he told delighted convention-goers, “We love our Barron.”
