Model Tess Shanahan and her billionaire husband Shaun Wilson, co-founder of the Bondi Sands fake tanning empire, have announced the birth of their first child.
The power couple made the announcement on Instagram on Monday, revealing that baby Romee “made his entrance into the world” on September 6.
‘Romee Rae Wilson made her grand entrance at 11:37am on September 6th, 2024. Our sweet girl is already stealing hearts,’ they wrote in their post.
Romee looked impeccably styled for her first appearance on the model’s Instagram feed, wearing a beige wool jumpsuit complete with matching bow booties and a pom-pom hat.
The text on the name card placed next to the newborn’s head reads: “Hello world.”
The couple told their 191,000 followers that they are madly in love with their little bundle of joy.
“We are completely in love and enjoying every moment of this bubble!” she wrote.
Tess’ model friends were quick to congratulate her on the new addition to the family, including Bec Judd, Miss Universe Australia Daria Varlamova and Chantelle Baker offering their warm congratulations.

The couple is in the midst of a long engagement, which Shaun announced in July 2023 on Instagram.
Tess, 28, told the Herald Sun they are set to marry in 2025.
“We have decided to postpone the wedding until 2025 and are considering an Australian destination,” she said.

She founded the company Verve Superfoods, which has a range of natural powdered products designed to enhance smoothies.
Tess has walked for the likes of Alex Perry, Steven Khalil, David Jones, Myer, Lisa Marie Fernandez and numerous fashion weeks worldwide.
Meanwhile, Shaun founded the Bondi Sands brand in 2012 in Melbourne together with his business partner Blair James.

The incredibly successful tanning line held 60 per cent of the market share in Australia in 2021 and is the number one self-tanning brand in the world.
It is also sold at US retailers such as Walgreens, Ulta Beauty, Target, CVS and Rite Aid.
Bondi Sands, which Shaun co-founded, was acquired by Japanese multinational Kao Group for nearly $450 million in August 2022.
Shaun then spent some of his lavish winnings on buying a huge mansion in Byron Bay, in what has been dubbed the “Golden Grid” of the moneyed area.
The couple have some very famous neighbours, including laid-back Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa, as well as his brother Liam Hemsworth.
Shaun and Tess’ luxury home, which they purchased for $8.26 million just a few months ago, sits on a 11,000-square-foot elevated lot and features a modern exterior with a columned porch.
Bondi Sands continues to be one of the most successful beauty brands, with 56 products currently sold in 32 different countries.
The growing artificial tanning empire began with a simple idea in 2008.
The entrepreneur, who co-founded the fake tanning brand with Blair James, invested part of his generous profits from the sale of Bondi Sands into buying a sprawling mansion in Byron Bay (pictured) in June.
James had been running artificial tanning salons in Melbourne, his friends’ hometown, when the state government introduced strict regulations for anyone under 18.
He was forced to turn away clients from his tanning salon at the time, called Body Bronze, and those clients were forced to use homemade tanning products, which they complained weren’t half as good as the ones in the salon.
James brought Shaun on board to invest in filling the gap in the market with a canned fake tan that looked and felt like the true “quintessential Australian tan” and Bondi Sands was born.
Now in their late twenties, both men have made enough money from that golden idea to provide their growing families with a good life.
