“A couple of weeks ago, screenshots of my old ask.fm account surfaced showing me using a slur back in the summer of 2014,” he began.

Now, the 23-year-old, who was spotted at a wedding in St. Tropez in July with her boyfriend, NFL player Braxton Berrios, is apologizing in an Instagram Story for her 3.7 million followers.
“A couple of weeks ago, screenshots of my old ask.fm account surfaced showing me using a slur back in the summer of 2014,” he began.
“That is no excuse for using that word in any context or at any age. It is not at all the way I speak or what I stand for,” she added.
“I am deeply sorry that my words have hurt many people and led people to believe that I am biased. I promise you that could not be further from the truth,” Earle continued.
“My platform has always been about positivity, entertainment and uplifting others, and will continue to do so. I am truly sorry for offending anyone who has been offended,” she said.
“I regret how I handled this situation, allowing too many people to discourage me from saying anything for too long,” he added.
“I wasn’t sure how to handle it and unfortunately the advice I was given, while well-intentioned, was flawed,” she continued.
“I have no one to blame but myself for not standing my ground and following my instinct and speaking up right away,” she said.
Earle added: “In my absence, my silence has allowed others to fill the void with rumours that are simply not true.”
She addressed a rumor that surfaced on the Do You Know Them podcast, where they claimed they were contacted by Earle’s attorney who said her posts had been “trademarked” to supposedly prevent anyone from sharing them.

Earle said: ‘One rumour in particular is that I tried to trademark my old posts, which is absolutely ridiculous and untrue.’
She added: “Another is that a brand announced that it will no longer work with me, even though we have never been in talks with them about a partnership of any kind.”
“Regardless of what is being said online, I wanted to come here to address the facts and, most importantly, apologize,” he concluded.
The apology came just after Rolling Stone named Earle the eighth most influential content creator of 2024.
