Speaking at Mamamia’s No filter On the podcast, Ada later revealed that she had only told a small group of people she was “close” with on set before “word spread” about the couple’s off-screen relationship.
“I thought I didn’t need to tell anyone else, we didn’t need a group email, people just figured it out,” he shared.
Ada also admitted that developing feelings for her former TV co-star, James, was “strange” at first.
‘Jimmy and I have known each other for 25 or 30 years and we didn’t have feelings for a long, long time. So I was surprised when I started having feelings,” he said.
“There was this chemistry for the first time, this spark that came out that wasn’t there before and it was strange.”
The couple began dating after Ada split from ex-partner Adam Rigby just before Christmas last year and James finalized his divorce from Sarah Roberts in March.
