The couple were having sex in their spacious 2020 Range Rover near the Schuylkill River in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, at around 4.15am on Wednesday.
While the couple was enjoying lovemaking, an errant limb accidentally pushed the gear shift into drive and the SUV began to move.

Before they knew it, the car flipped over the edge into the river near the Strawberry Mansion Bridge and began to sink.
Both the man and woman managed to escape the car before it sank underwater, but they had to swim back to dry land in a very embarrassing manner.
The car’s headlights cast a strange green glow across the water throughout the night until firefighters were able to respond.
The white Range Rover was finally pulled out of the river at around 9am.
Another car was driven into the river near the same spot on Aug. 16 and police said no one was found inside.
