Long Bright River is based on the book of the same name by Liz Moore, which was published in 2020 and became a New York Times bestseller.
The show will focus on a police officer who works in a high-crime area of ​​Philadelphia and discovers that she has a personal connection to several murders in her district.
The development of the project was revealed to the public last January, when Seyfried signed on as its star.
