Ryan Gosling has apologized for causing the closure of the Sydney Harbor Bridge.
The Hollywood star, 43, made the mea culpa on Tuesday’s Sunrise show while promoting her new box office hit, The Fall Guy, filmed in Australia.
Interviewed alongside co-star Emily Blunt, 41, the Barbie star said “we’re sorry about the bridge.”
‘We didn’t want to delay traffic. “We thought there would be two lanes open,” she stated, after which Emily told Ryan, “You said one and now you’re widening it.” You’re like inflating your stuff.
‘No, you need two [lanes] because you have to come and go,’ the Hollywood heartthrob joked in response.

The Fall Guy, a high-octane thriller directed by John Wick co-creator David Leitch, had its world premiere at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas, in March.
In the film’s three-minute trailer, released in November, Colt (Ryan Gosling) finds himself in a pretty sticky situation as he works with his former director Jody (Blunt) while trying to solve a crime.
Colt and Jody reunite on set despite the director’s insistence that he never wants to work with the star again.
‘No, you need two [lanes] because you have to come and go,’ the Hollywood heartthrob joked in response.
However, things get especially interesting when the film’s star Tom Ryder, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, disappears.
Jody asks Colt to find Tom, which lands him in a lot of trouble, but luckily he has experience in stunt training to get him out of many physical situations.
The film also stars Hannah Waddingham and Winston Duke.

There’s no doubt that the action, with many of the most impressive moments filmed in iconic locations around the port city, is a big draw for Australian film fans.
Both the Sydney Opera House and Harbor Bridge were closed during production to allow the incredible moments to be safely captured on video.
With rave initial reviews that touched on the film’s comedy, Gosling and Blunt’s palpable chemistry, and the film’s tribute to the stunt profession and the film industry in general,
Fall Guy has already received an impressive 89 percent approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
