A young Australian has explained why he doesn’t like Australia, but still decides to stay despite considering it a racist country.

The young man spoke out after social media star Jasky Singh approached him on the street over a video that was posted on social media.

Singh asked the young man what he thought of Australia Day.

“Well, today is a day that celebrates genocide, and we are here to oppose that,” he said.

“We think it’s not a day to celebrate and I don’t think Australia should be celebrated at all.”

Mr Singh asked why he believes Australia should not be celebrated.

Perth artist and comedian ‘Mr Sikkant’ (pictured) interviewed a young man about Australia Day and was taken aback by his response.

The young Australian pointed out the historical and current mistreatment of indigenous Australians and said they face oppression on a daily basis.

“It was based on the genocide of indigenous peoples and the current dispossession of lands and the oppression of indigenous peoples in prisons,” he said.

‘Like deaths in police custody, torture in prisons of children driven to suicide, it happens, you know, that’s the kind of system Australia has every day. ‘

He went on to say that Australia is a “racist country” and a “racist state”.

Singh seemed surprised by his response and said he was happy to live in Australia after migrating to another country.

‘For me, as a migrant, I am very happy to live here. It’s very interesting for me to hear that someone who lives here doesn’t like Australia.

The young Australian responded by saying: ‘I think Australia is really racist against immigrants too. Liberal politicians are seen stoking anti-immigrant hysteria all the time. ‘

Singh then asked why he wouldn’t move to another country if he didn’t like Australia that much.

The young man described Australia as

The young man called Australia a “racist country” and stated that he did not like it “at all.” He added that he would not move out of Australia despite his feelings, stating that Australians should fight racism.

‘No, because I think we should fight oppression and inequality.

‘Racism is caused by capitalism and we need to overthrow it to get rid of racism. Get rid of it. Get rid of racism.

Australians were divided over the young man’s opinions.

‘Generation Z is the lost generation. They have been brainwashed and cannot think for themselves. “They need a wake-up call,” one of them said.

‘This person was already on the defensive from the beginning. “Gen Z says he’s open-minded, but only if his views agree,” added a second.

Others labeled the young man a legend and said he made some interesting points.

‘I’m not from Generation Z, but he has some interesting ideas. He seemed a little nervous, but he’s understandable in that situation,” one person commented.

A second person wrote: “Love your response, absolute legend.”

A third added: ‘He is very eloquent. Congratulations to young people like him who fight for a cause they believe in.”
