He said GQ Annual Creativity Issue: ‘I had spoken to many incredible athletes, from Boris Becker to Serena Williams, even Michael Jordan. Talking to greats that I’ve met along the way, who are retired, or some who are still in competition, and the fear of what’s next, the lack of preparation for what’s coming.”
‘A lot of them said, “I stopped too soon.” Or: “I stayed too long.” “When it was over, I didn’t have anything planned.” “My whole world fell apart because my whole life has revolved around that sport.”
“Some of them were like, ‘I didn’t plan it and it was a bit of a disaster because afterwards I was really lost. There was a hole, a void. And I had no idea how I was going to do it. stuff it. And at first I was in such a hurry to try to fill it that you fill it with the wrong thing…”‘
But it made me think, “Okay, when I stop, how can I avoid it?” And then I got serious about finding other things I was passionate about.”
He added: “I went through this phase where I understood that I can’t run forever… Because when I stop, I’ll put the microphone down and I’ll be happy.”

Lewis arrives at the Suzuka International Racing Course paddock on Sunday
Lewis cut a peculiar figure on Saturday when he arrived at the paddock for another practice session.
Lewis went on to reveal that he has many passions he wants to pursue, but needs to narrow them down, so he decided to focus on film and fashion, and wants to create a luxury brand company to rival LVMH, which boasts names like Tiffany Co., Christian Dior and Givenchy.
He explained: ‘The difficult thing is that I want to do it all. I am very ambitious. But I understand that you can’t do it; In fact, I take it back because I don’t believe in the word I can’t.
‘To be a master at something, it takes 10,000 hours. Obviously, I’ve done it in racing. There’s not enough time to master all these different things…
“I think it will be cinema and fashion… Honestly, one of my dreams is to have thought about creating my own diverse LVMH.”
‘I don’t know if we live in a time where that is really possible. But that’s something I’m conceptualizing.”
Lewis has previously ventured into both music and film, founding her own production company called Dawn Apollo Films, and has also collaborated with American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.
