The first cookbook written by Buddy Oliver, Jamie Oliver’s son, has been acquired by Penguin Michael Joseph.

His father, Jamie Oliver, also commented on the news, saying he is “super proud” of his son and the effort he put into the book.

Jamie added that Buddy “has always loved” sharing easy, tasty recipes, “which is why his Cooking Buddies YouTube channel has been a success.”

Managing director Louise Moore, who bought world rights to the book directly from Jamie Oliver Limited, described it as “not surprising” that Buddy “was inspired by life in a food-loving family”.
