I think the Bulldogs will come out with a real advantage in this one. That loss to West Coast in round 23 last year really hurt them, and there will be a big desire to put that right. The Bulldogs improved last week against Gold Coast and on paper should have too much for the Eagles.
For the West Coast, they are looking for incremental improvements. There have been some promising signs in their first two defeats (against very strong teams in Port and GWS), but also some major shortcomings that have led to big defeats. They’ll want more promising signs from Harley Reid, Reuben Ginbey and company, and a competitive effort of at least four quarters.
