‘It’s time to undo it all now and get back to reality. All those things you thought were cool at first. . . It’s time to get healthy.’

His “health journey” has seen him reduce his alcohol and drug consumption and he now wakes up at 4am every day.

Liam told the publication: ‘As you get older, life is precious, you know what I mean? I’m a pretty carefree guy. I love getting up early in the morning.

But I’m definitely in a slump. But we’re all going to die, right?

Speaking about his hip problems last year, he said: “My hips are screwed up, I have arthritis, really bad.”

“I went to get checked out and my bones are shattered. The lady was like, ‘Oh, you might need hip surgery, a replacement.’

He said at the time that he didn’t want the operation because of the “stigma.”

‘I think I’d rather just feel pain. Which is ridiculous, obviously. I know that. Just get them fixed. But it’s a stigma to say you’ve had your hips replaced. Whats Next?’

He told MoJo magazine: ‘When it’s cold, my hips are like snaps, crackles and pops. I need heat.

‘I can’t sleep at night because of the pain. Round and round. So I am taking herbal sleeping pills and they have saved my life. One of them, seven hours out, no pain, nothing.

‘The new thing I have is Deep Heat. I put my knees, hips, and calves in there, and then got in the steam room for as long as I can stand it.

Liam, a keen runner, was told by doctors to run less to help manage his condition.

In the interview he also talked about his psoriasis, saying he once met a fan who thought he had cocaine in his hair, but it was actually itchy bits of skin from his scalp.

He said: “I have psoriasis so obviously I had been scratching it during the day and there were little whiteheads and shit.” They took it out of my hair and put it on their gums and stuck it up their fucking nose!’

Last February, on Twitter, he said of his hip surgery: “Morning Rastas, so I had hip surgery last week, everything went well and I RESPEK (respect) all the doctors and nurses who took care of me. A big thanks to the A team for bringing us home safe and sound.

‘You know who you are and Florence guru, I love you and I adore Riverdance, here I come LG x’.

One fan asked: ‘I hope the operation hasn’t affected your arrogance!!’

Only for Liam to quickly respond: “I’m going to ask my physio to study old videos of my walk so we don’t miss any tricks, the comeback is real.”

Liam is currently on a UK tour alongside John Squire following the release of the duo’s new album.

He is committed to his bride Debbie Gwyther.

WHAT IS PSORIASIS?

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that affects the skin and sometimes the joints.

About two percent of people in the US and UK suffer from this condition.

Psoriasis occurs when the process of replacing a person’s skin takes place in a few days instead of the usual 21 to 28 days.

The buildup of skin cells builds up to form raised plaques, which can be scaly, flaky, and itchy.

Psoriasis arthritis can occur in the joints near the affected skin, causing them to become tender, swollen, and stiff.

Anyone can suffer, but psoriasis is most common in people between their teens and 30s or 50s and 60s.

The cause of psoriasis is not clear. Breakouts can be caused by stress, skin injuries, hormonal changes, and certain medications.

It is not contagious and there is no cure.

Treatment focuses on controlling symptoms using creams, gels, and topical medications.

Liam and Debbie began dating in 2013 and he moved into her house, although he did not divorce his first wife, Nicola Appleton, until the following year.

The couple were due to marry in May last year, however they were forced to postpone after Liam underwent double hip replacement surgery.

Despite already booking their big day on the shores of Lake Como, the couple decided to turn the trip into a family vacation amid the rocker’s road to recovery.

A source said Sun at the time: ‘The wedding was supposed to take place last month, but in the weeks leading up to it, Liam and Debbie decided to postpone it.

‘Liam is still recovering from his hip surgery and wants to be in tip-top shape when he tells me I’m doing it for the third time.

“They were joined by their sons Gene and Lennon and daughter Molly and enjoyed a relaxing break.”

Liam has been married twice: first to actress Patsy Kensit and second to All Saints singer Nicola Appleton.

The former Oasis frontman has four children: Lennon, 24, and Gene, 22, with Patsy and Nicola respectively, and Molly, 25, from an affair with Lisa Moorish while he was married to Patsy, and Gemma, 10 years, of an adventure. with Liza Ghorbani while he was married to Nicola.

Meanwhile, Liam and Stone Roses guitarist John are currently touring the UK following the release of their self-titled collaborative album.

Revealing how they came to work together during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show earlier this month, Liam explained: “At Knebworth, John came to play one of the songs at the end.

“So in pre-rehearsals, I hadn’t seen him in a long time, so I said, ‘What have you been doing?’ and he said, “I’ve been writing some songs.” I said, “Who sings them?” and he said, “Well, you are.” And I was going to have a year off and stuff, you know. Did you? What do I mean? So it’s his fault.

When asked who his first choice for songs was, Liam told John: “You were looking for a girl, weren’t you?” And then you ended up with this guy.’ John jokes: ‘Yes, I need a new address!’

Explaining why they wanted to work together, John said: “We know each other’s musical knowledge inside out, I knew we would always be on the same page.”

Liam admitted that John was part of the reason he wanted to start his own band: “I was always inspired by John’s band, you know what I mean? It was the first band I went to see, The (Stone) Roses.

“I was 15, 16 years old and that’s it, it changed my life,” he added that later he knew “now the only thing I have to do is learn to sing.”

When The Stone Roses ended, John said: “I think I kept writing songs, I actually formed another band, The Seahorses, and then I had a lot of children.”
