After months of dominating the NFL spotlight, Taylor Swift could become the sound of March Madness in the coming weeks.
Swift was front and center at NFL games and telecasts last season due to her high-profile relationship with Travis Kelce – the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
But its undeniable reach has apparently extended to college basketball as it was named one of coaches’ favorite NCAA Tournament performances in a poll of their musical tastes.
CBS asked all 68 coaches had to compete to name their favorite band or singer and BYU’s Mark Pope surprisingly named Swift as his first choice, even selecting his five favorite songs.
The 51-year-old chose Cornelia Street, New Year’s Day, Karma, All Too Well (specifying the 10-minute version) and Cruel Summer.

In the South, the situation was extremely varied, with John Calipari of the University of Kentucky, who revealed that he listened to very little music, siding with Drake.
Marquette’s Shaka Smart went with 2Pac while there were a few old-school choices in the form of Queen and the Beatles. North Carolina State’s Kevin Keatts and Boise State’s Leon Rice both opted for Michael Jackson.
Jackson was also popular in the Midwest, with John Groce of Akron and Rodney Terry of Texas both choosing the King of Pop.
