A gang of four balaclava-clad men allegedly kidnapped and beat a woman in her own home before a terrifying shootout while she was held hostage in another house.

The alarm was raised after neighbors heard a woman screaming about 2pm at a property in Forest Lake, southwest of Brisbane, on Friday.

Locals saw the woman being led to the two-storey brick house after police said she was allegedly abducted from her home in nearby Cassowary Street, Doolandella.

Several minutes later, neighbors told police they heard a burst of gunshots before four men dressed all in black and wearing balaclavas fled the scene.

Emergency services and police arrived shortly after.

Paramedics treated the 43-year-old woman for stab wounds to her hand and a fracture to her eye socket before she was taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Police arrested four men at a property on Jarvis Street in Stafford Heights around two o’clock later, shortly after 3:30 p.m.

The men were arrested and police established crime scenes at all three addresses. No charges have been filed as police continue to investigate the incident.

Officers also seized a white Audi allegedly driven by the group of men for forensic examination.

Forest Lake resident Paul Spence witnessed the incident and alleged that the men appeared to be holding the woman “hostage.”

Spence said he heard a loud noise before the men led the woman into the brick house.

“I thought an awning had fallen down and the next minute I saw some guys kicking down the door,” he told the newspaper. mail.

“And a guy with a hostage, a girl in her 20s, maybe, with his hand around her neck and forcing her into the house.”

He said he saw one of the men allegedly carrying a large gun.

Another resident said he heard gunshots.

“I just heard bang, bang, bang… three or four gunshots,” they said.

A bloody handprint stain was seen on a pillar outside the property the woman had been forced onto by the alleged attackers.

After the group of men fled the scene, residents rushed to help the woman until emergency services arrived.

The latest incident comes after grandmother Vyleen White, 70, was allegedly stabbed to death in front of her granddaughter in the underground car park of the Town Square Redbank Plains shopping centre, in Brisbane’s south-west, last Saturday.

His blue 2009 Hyundai Getz was allegedly stolen and later found by police in Springfield Lakes.

Five teenagers, ages 15 and 16, have been arrested and charged in connection with his death and alleged carjacking.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder.
