Social media users have reacted after a bizarre clip emerged of Donald Trump having his microphone cut off during a rally.
The Republican presidential candidate had audio problems while speaking at a campaign event in Milwaukee on Friday night.
Opting to use a handheld microphone, Trump was seen pulling the microphone into his position before beginning to put his mouth around it.
Since then, social media X has exploded with a series of comments on the widely shared images.
One person commented on the short clip, which has been viewed more than 14 million times: “Doesn’t look like his first time either.”
Insinuating that the 78-year-old was simulating a sex act on the microphone, social media site X erupted with a flood of comments over the widely shared clip.

Another commented: ‘There is something very wrong with this person. He is willing to do or say ANYTHING to gain the applause of his sycophantic cult.
The View’s Ann Navarro weighed in on the clip, saying, “Ask yourself: What would happen if Kamala Harris did this?
‘Yeah. Dress well. This is Trump on stage at a rally, pretending to perform a sex act with a microphone.
‘This is not normal. Trump is disgusting, unhinged, and unfit to represent the United States. Vote him out.’
The audience that had gathered at the event had begun to cheer for the former president because they could not hear him minutes after his speech.
He went on to talk about his equipment, saying, “The microphone is terrible… I think this microphone sucks.”
Ten minutes later he touched the equipment again: “I’ve never held a microphone up for so long in my damn life.”
Later, when the audio cut out again, he jokingly threatened to beat up team personnel.
‘Do you want to see me hit people backstage? I get so angry I’m up here boiling. I’m working hard with this stupid microphone.

It was her last rally in Wisconsin, where across town Kamala Harris was holding a rally with rappers Cardi B and GloRilla.
Similarly, Cardi B also suffered a technical mishap when the teleprompter she was reading cut out.
The Grammy winner was stopped in her tracks when the teleprompter suddenly had a technical problem.
For about a minute he remained on stage wondering how to respond while the audience applauded.
The rapper was forced to read her endorsement of Harris from her phone, saying she wasn’t “going to vote” until the vice president entered the race.
Milwaukee is home to the most Democratic votes in Wisconsin, but its conservative suburbs are where most Republicans live and are a critical area for Trump as he tries to win back the state he narrowly won in 2016 and lost in 2020.
One of the reasons for his defeat was a drop in support in those Milwaukee suburbs and a rise in Democratic votes in the city.
The rapper was forced to read her endorsement of Harris from her phone, saying she wasn’t “going to vote” until the vice president entered the race.
“I wasn’t going to vote this year,” Cardi B said, before adding that Harris took office when the Democratic candidate changed her mind.
“She’s passionate, compassionate… and, above all, she doesn’t fool herself,” he said.
He referred to Donald Trump as a “bully” and added that he “said he will protect women whether they like it or not.”
‘If your definition of protection is not freedom of choice… then I don’t want it. “I will not give Donald Trump a second chance.”
Four of the last six presidential elections in Wisconsin were decided by less than one point, or fewer than 23,000 votes.
It was Milwaukee’s absentee votes, typically reported early in the morning after Election Day, that swung Wisconsin for President Joe Biden in 2020.
Harris urged everyone in Wisconsin to get out and vote, and saluted young Gen Z voters who were voting for the first time.
“I love Generation Z,” he said, laughing. ‘This is what I love about you. You are, rightly, impatient for change. I love that about you!’
