Megyn Kelly has revealed the main problem with former President Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden.

The radio host praised Trump for staying on message at the New York City rally Sunday night, saying he did a “great job” and admitting that she voted for him to take on the highest office in the land.

But he said “Trump was not well looked after by those around him”, amid controversial jokes from comedian Tony Hinchcliffe.

“It wasn’t a Nazi rally, that’s all nonsense,” Kelly said. But I assure you, even for me, who voted for Donald Trump last week, it was too fantastic. OK? Was.’

“You’re trying to win an election where there’s a hemorrhage of female voters,” she said. ‘Maybe when you perform in front of hundreds of thousands of people at least in Madison Square Garden, you clean up the bro chat a little so as not to alienate women in middle America who are already on the fence about the Republicans.

But he said “Trump was not well looked after by those around him”, amid controversial jokes from comedian Tony Hinchcliffe.

‘Don’t you have women advising your campaigns?’ -Kelly asked.

“Isn’t there a real woman sitting backstage presenting a guest list and saying, ‘Let’s talk to the guys who are going to talk about (how) this isn’t the bar, this is it’? In their living room, this is a campaign.

“This is politics. We’re trying to get him elected. We no longer need to rally the base or the kids and it’s not helpful to rally the base or hurl off-color insults at different racial groups, etc..”

“I get it,” Kelly continued. ‘Believe me, nothing that was said offended me. I’m mostly harmless, but I understand how this works, especially with women and it was a fucked up choice.

“They took what was an incredible, exciting, well-attended, enormously enthusiastic Trump celebration and gave themselves a big black eye.”

“It’s not about the crazy media, which of course did what the crazy media is going to do,” Kelly concluded.

‘It’s about them giving the crazy media all these headlines that undermined the main man, Donald Trump, who did exactly what he should have done last night.

‘You’re screwed!’ she said.

‘Hopefully, he will do better in the last week of the campaign. That’s my opinion.

Hinchcliffe referred to the American territory as a ‘floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean’

His comments came as the Trump campaign did damage control following Hinchcliffe’s comment about Puerto Rico at the rally.

During his speech, which campaign officials said was not approved ahead of time, Hinchcliffe referred to the US territory as a ‘floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean.’

But there is an estimated population of more than 400,000 Puerto Ricans living in battleground Pennsylvania, as Trump’s critics were quick to point out Sunday night. (Residents living in Puerto Rico and other US territories cannot vote in US presidential elections.)

On Fox & Friends on Monday, spokesperson Karoline Leavitt claimed it was simply “a comedian making a bad joke.”

“Obviously, that joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or our campaign,” he added.

“And I think it’s sad that the media picked up on a joke made by a comedian, instead of the truths that were shared by the phenomenal lineup of speakers we had,” he said, placing the blame on the media. who Trump called the “enemy of the people” in his own comments.

‘And the crowd didn’t care, did they?’ Leavitt went on to note that the crowd “was a diverse group of people.”

“The prank fell flat, but the crowd was there because they know who President Trump is and they know he wants to be a president for all Americans.”

Senior advisor Danielle Alvarez also stated, “This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign.”

Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said Hinchcliffe’s jokes do not “reflect the views of President Trump or our campaign.”

Leavitt also defended the overall tone of the rally.

“It was happiness and joy. And there was such a diverse group of people in that packed house,” he told Fox & Friends.

‘There wasn’t an empty seat. “There were Black Americans, Latin Americans, Jewish Americans, men and women of all ages who supported President Trump and were not afraid to show it.”

But Hinchcliffe’s other comments also sparked controversy.

‘These Latinos also love having babies. I just know that they do it,” he said at one point.

‘There is no way to withdraw. They don’t do that. They come in, just as they did with our country.

“Republicans are the party with a good sense of humor,” he said after that observation.

Republicans were quick to condemn the comments.

Sen. Rick Scott of Florida, who is fighting former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, wrote: “This prank backfired for a reason. It’s not funny and it’s not true. Puerto Ricans are amazing people and amazing Americans!’

Racist comments at the rally drew opprobrium from the media, with the New York Times headline “Grievances, Misogyny and Racism.”
