Arby's Deluxe Burger is one of several that are now permanent menu items. It's the first time in 60 years that burgers are on the menu full time.

For decades, Arby’s has built its brand on roast beef sandwiches, standing out in a crowded fast food landscape dominated by burgers.

The chain, founded in 1964, didn’t introduce its first burger until 2022, and even then it was a limited-edition offering.

The burger was a hit, selling out in just two weeks and returning for limited runs in November 2022, May and then November 2023, and May of this year.

But now Arby’s is making burgers a permanent menu item.

Fast food site reports. Eat brand suggest burgers are here to stay, and Arby’s insiders confirm the chain is ditching the limited-time format.

One Reddit tipster even hinted earlier this year that the new burger will be different from the original Wagyu version.

While Arby’s has not responded to requests for comment, the company’s website now promotes the burgers as a permanent offering. Burgers are “here to stay.”

Fans can choose from the Deluxe Burger, Big Cheesy Bacon Burger or the new BBQ Bacon Burger, which features crispy onions, bacon, pickles, American cheese and smoky barbecue sauce on a brioche bun.

Arby’s burgers cost between $6.49 and $8.49, although prices can vary.

Customers can also opt for the Deluxe Burger as part of the Tailgate Meal, which includes fries, a drink and a turnover for $13.98.

The burger launch isn’t the only interesting development from Arby’s.

Earlier this month, the chain launched a Double the Meats meal. Priced at $7, it offers a medium drink, fries, and the option to choose between double the meat.
