Liam Payne’s girlfriend has paid a heartbreaking tribute to her late boyfriend, saying they would marry within a year.
The singer caused great pain when he fell 45 feet to his death from a hotel balcony last Wednesday at the age of 31.
Alongside a black and white photo of the couple hugging, Kate Cassidy, 25, said she was “heartbroken”.

Cassidy, 25, left Argentina two days before Liam’s death in Buenos Aires, where they had originally flown to see his former bandmate Niall Horan’s concert on October 4.
The former One Direction star fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur Palmero hotel in a tragedy that is being treated as an “inconclusive death.”
The autopsy determined that he died from multiple injuries.
Posting on Instagram, she revealed her idyllic evening, now touched by tragedy.
She wrote: ‘A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful afternoon manifesting our lives together. I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it.

Kate was seen in public for the first time on Monday, picking up dog food for her pet.
She walked down the street with two friends while holding a bag under each arm.
On Friday, the influencer broke her silence to pay an emotional tribute to Payne. The post on her Instagram read: ‘Thank you for all the kind words and love you have sent my way.
‘I’ve been completely lost. Nothing about the last few days has seemed real to me. I ask and pray that You give me the grace and space to navigate this privately.
‘Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know that I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.’
