Tones and I celebrated their hit song Dance Monkey reaching a staggering three billion streams on Spotify.
The Australian singer, whose real name is Toni Watson, has become the first female artist in the world to reach the mega streaming milestone.
She took to Instagram to commemorate the achievement with a portrait of herself along with the caption: “The first woman in the WORLD.”
Tones previously revealed that he wrote the song while living in a van and “playing music on the street.”
The hit is one of the biggest hit songs in the history of Australian pop music.

It is the ARIA Singles Chart’s longest-running No. 1 since the chart was created in 1988. The song has reportedly earned the star an estimated $12 million.
Dance Monkey was also the second most streamed song in the world in 2020.
Tones began his career busking while living in a van before having a successful debut single with Johnny Run.
The milestone comes as the singer continues to support Pink on her Australian tour this month.
