Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew caught on camera picking his nose and eating it

It looks like the two interceptions Gardner Minshew threw on Sunday weren’t the only things “chosen.”

After a disastrous day for the Las Vegas Raiders quarterback, he was benched to replace Aidan O’Connell in the team’s 34-18 loss to division rival Denver Broncos.

Minshew was relegated to wearing headphones for the rest of the game, but late in the fourth quarter, cameras caught the quarterback at an inopportune moment.

He was seen sticking his thumb along the edge of his nose and then putting his hand to his mouth.

Fans speculated that Minshew had picked his nose and then put whatever he found into his mouth.

Social media trolled Minshew, making puns on his last name, among other funny posts.

“Okay, and somehow that’s the least offensive thing he did today,” wrote one person on X, formerly Twitter.

‘Well, now we have to start Aidan the rest of the year, otherwise we’ll be known as that team with the QB who eats his own snot. Damn, Gardner, I trusted you,” said one despondent Raiders fan.

The only thing more unpleasant than Minshew ‘digging for gold’ would be his performance Sunday against one of the league’s best pass defenses.

Minshew only threw 17 passes, completing 12 of them for 137 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, while being sacked twice.

O’Connell didn’t fare much better, completing 10 of 20 passes for 94 yards and throwing an interception while also taking a sack.

The Raiders (2-3) hope to bounce back next week when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
