Colt Gray admitted to investigators “I did it” despite being read his Miranda rights after being arrested for shooting and killing four people at his high school in Georgia.
The 14-year-old was arrested Wednesday at Apalachee High School in Winder, minutes after authorities said he opened fire on students and teachers.
Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith said the boy was “still talking” after authorities read him his rights, according to CNN.
Gray’s father, Colin, 54, has been arrested by local authorities and charged with two counts of murder, four counts of involuntary manslaughter and eight counts of child cruelty.
Officials confirmed at a news conference that the charges stem from Colin “knowingly allowing” his son to have access to the firearm used in the shooting.

Gray received the gun he used to shoot four people dead at his Georgia high school as a Christmas gift from his father, months after they were questioned by the FBI over alleged threats.
