Caitlin Clark sat next to boyfriend Connor McCaffery to watch their first NFL game together as a couple in Indianapolis on Saturday night.
Clark and McCaffery were in a luxury suite high above the Lucas Oil Stadium turf to watch the Colts’ preseason win over the Cardinals.
The courtside glimpse came a day after Clark was sublime in her return to the WNBA following the Olympic break.
The Indiana Fever star scored 29 points, one shy of his season high, along with 10 assists and five rebounds in the win over the Phoenix Mercury.
Clark’s dominance made her the first rookie to have multiple games with 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a single game this season.
Clark and McCaffrey watched the Indianapolis Colts defeat the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday.
The night before the Colts game, Clark led his Indiana Fever to victory over the Mercury.
Clark was out of professional basketball for nearly a month due to the Olympics, where his omission from Team USA upset some basketball fans.
An NBC commercial starring Aubrey Plaza mentioned that women’s basketball was “on the rise.” However, the person many credit with the sport’s rise stayed in the United States.
Clark teamed with Angel Reese and others to defeat Team USA during the WNBA All-Star game and watched the Americans win gold in Paris.
Although the Fever started the season with a 1-8 record, they are now 12-15 and three games ahead of the Atlanta Dream for a playoff spot.
Clark will return to action on Sunday against the Seattle Storm on Indiana’s home court.
Indiana hasn’t made the postseason since 2016. Now, with Clark at the helm, the Fever’s fortunes appear to be improving.
