Vinicius Junior has reportedly turned down the chance to make a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League.

According to The Athletic, the winger’s representatives have been contacted by the Public Investment Fund, which works on behalf of the country’s Ministry of Sport.

The PIF was seeking to persuade Vinicius to become the face of the league ahead of the 2034 World Cup, which will be held in Saudi Arabia.

However, Real Madrid have no intention of selling Vinicius and the player is keen to remain at the club and continue working under Carlo Ancelotti.

Vinicius, whose current contract runs until 2027, has a €1bn (£855m) release clause.
