Angelina Jolie wants her ex-husband Brad Pitt to drop his lawsuit against her over the centre of their legal drama, the Chateau Miraval winery, through her lawyer Paul Murphy.
The 49-year-old actress wants him to ‘end the fights’, after he sued her for selling him half of the winery in October 2021 for $67 million, according to People Magazine.
Angelina has asked Brad, 60, to disclose any communications with third parties he had following their 2016 private jet trip, during which she says he allegedly became violent and abusive – which he vehemently denied and was cleared of – leading to the demise of their marriage.
During the plane ride, it was alleged that he had an argument with his son Maddox, and the FBI investigated the matter and cleared Brad of any wrongdoing.
Brad’s lawyer called his request “intrusive” and a “sensationalist fishing expedition,” the outlet reported.

His lawyer asked the judge to deny it.
Brad claims Angelina went against their verbal agreement regarding his winery, but she claims she wouldn’t let him buy it because she didn’t want to sign his confidentiality agreement, which was part of the deal, according to People.
Her attorney, Paul Murphy, claims Brad “sought to punish and control Angelina by demanding a newly expanded confidentiality agreement to cover his personal misconduct and abuse,” according to the outlet.
“These actions are fundamental to the process. We are not at all surprised that Mr. Pitt is afraid to hand over the documents that prove these facts,” Murphy said.
“When Angelina again calls on Mr. Pitt to end the feud and finally put her family on a clear path to healing, unless Mr. Pitt withdraws his lawsuit, Angelina will have no choice but to obtain the evidence necessary to prove his allegations wrong,” Murphy said in the filing, according to People.
The movie stars, who met in 2004 while filming Mr. And Mrs. Smith, share six children: sons Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, and Knox, 16, and daughters Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and Vivienne, 16.
Jolie adopted Maddox in 2002 and Zahara in 2005, a year after meeting Pitt while they were filming Mr and Mrs Smith. At the time, he was married to Jennifer Aniston.
In 2007, they adopted Pax together and later had biological children: Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. Pitt adopted all of the children before marrying in 2014.
They married in August 2014 after 10 years together, but Angelina filed for divorce in September 2016.

According to TMZ, Brad, 60, and Angelina, 48, have reportedly revealed their finances to each other, marking the end of a divorce settlement; Brad and Angelina pictured snuggling on January 7, 2008 at the 13th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards in Santa Monica.
At the time, Angelina opted to file the lawsuit “for the health of the family,” according to the Associated Press, and asked for physical custody of the children.
Jolie requested sole custody after filing for divorce following the alleged incident on the couple’s private plane.
In late September 2016, a judge granted her full physical custody and Brad had visitation rights.
Two months later, Brad filed his response, requesting joint physical custody of the children.
In December 2016, Brad filed (but was later denied) a request to seal custody-related documents.
In January 2017, they released a joint statement revealing that they had signed an agreement to keep their court documents confidential.
The judge ordered Angelina to help repair Brad’s relationship with his children and gave her more time with them.
However, in August 2018, Angelina accused Brad of failing to pay any “significant child support,” and Brad’s lawyers filed a response a day later, claiming he had paid her $9 million since their split.
A judge granted them both legal single status on April 12, 2019, as the couple continued to finalize their divorce.
Private judge John Ouderkirk granted Brad joint custody in May 2021, but Angelina challenged it.
A California appeals court disqualified the judge in July 2021, agreeing with Jolie that Judge John Ouderkirk failed to sufficiently disclose business relationships with Pitt’s lawyers.
The star’s lawyers filed a petition for review with the California Supreme Court after Judge John Ouderkirk’s disqualification effectively nullified the joint custody ruling, according to People.
In Pitt’s motion, the attorneys claim that Ouderkirk’s removal “effectively upended California’s constitutionally authorized temporary adjudication system” and subsequently “opens the door to disqualification challenges at any time during a case, even if the party making the motion has long been on notice of the alleged grounds for disqualification.”

The actor’s lawyers also allege that Jolie “was informed from the outset of Judge Ouderkirk’s significant professional history with Pitt’s counsel” but did not request disqualification until years later.
The joint custody decision was revoked after his dismissal.
In February 2022, Brad sued Angelina for selling her Chateau Miraval winery, her French winery and the venue where they got married.
They owned it 50-50 and Angelina sold her share to Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler. The holding company that controls her stake in Miraval is called Nouvel.
She requested that the sale be annulled and sought monetary damages and attorneys’ fees, however, the sale was completed on October 5, 2021.
In June 2023, Brad filed an amended complaint regarding the sale of his share of the winery.
His lawsuit for the sale of his share of the winery is still pending.
Brad is currently in a relationship with Inés de Ramón, the ex-wife of actor Paul Wesley.
