A CNN report from the Republican National Convention was nearly derailed when an attendee attacked the journalist with a video wearing a T-shirt that had no message to do with the convention.
DC reporter Kristen Holmes was delivering a story to camera from a Milwaukee conference room about Donald Trump’s security arrangements when the man appeared in frame to reveal the question “Where is Jeffrey Epstein’s client list?”
Holmes appeared oblivious to the intrusion as the bearded man smiled behind her, but some viewers were delighted by the unscheduled interruption when it was posted on social media.
“He asks the right questions!” wrote one. “Who is this legend?” asked another.
“I can’t believe the cameraman didn’t tell him about it,” added a third. “Maybe he shares those feelings.”
CNN reporter Kristen Holmes didn’t realize as her story went off message at the Republican National Convention.
The pedophile socialite has cast a long shadow since he was found hanged in his cell at New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center in August 2019.
The billionaire financier was accused of sexually abusing dozens of underage girls at his properties, and since his death speculation has swirled about who in his well-connected circle might have been involved.
Details of Epstein’s business dealings and his “client list” have remained shrouded in mystery, but around 150 of his alleged associates were named in a 2015 court case brought by accuser Virginia Giuffre against her co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell.
That list was unsealed by a Miami judge in January and includes former Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and attorney Alan Dershowitz, all of whom have vehemently denied any sexual misconduct.
Epstein was found to have committed suicide, but conspiracy theorists claim he was killed on the orders of powerful friends who feared being exposed at his trial.
And his long association with many of the world’s most powerful men has remained a thorn in the side of both the Democratic and Republican establishments.
“We hear a lot from our constituents on different issues, but one thing I’ve heard that doesn’t seem to be covered is the Epstein files,” House Democratic Caucus Vice Chair Ted Lieu, D-Calif., said at a House Democratic leadership event last week.
“Those files were published,” he continued. “Donald Trump is in the middle of all this.”
Democratic President Bill Clinton repeatedly met with the billionaire pedophile and socialite.
Former President Donald Trump has also been photographed with the financier on several occasions.
This infamous photograph of Prince Andrew with Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre helped force the prince’s retirement from royal duties.
“There are photographs of him with Epstein. He’s been on a plane with Epstein. He’s in the call logs with Epstein,” the Democrat said.
Trump previously admitted to meeting the disgraced financier when he was jailed in 2019.
“Well, I knew him, as did everybody in Palm Beach,” Trump said at the time, before adding: “I had a falling out with him a long time ago.”
“I don’t think I’ve talked to him in 15 years,” Trump added. “I was not a fan of him… I was not a fan of him, I can tell you that.”
