Barry Hall suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of Curtis Scott on Wednesday night, when the troubled former football star knocked out the AFL’s much bigger legend inside 90 seconds.

Hall, 47, was no match for Scott, 26, who floored the former Swans star with a wicked left hook in the early stages of the fight.

The brave football veteran continued to fight, but was definitively defeated 90 seconds from the end of the first round when the referee ended the fight.

“The moment he got hit, he just fell apart,” Barry Michael said. “He wasn’t doing well… he had no legs at all.”

“I swear to God that was the exact first shot Sonny Bill Williams ever threw,” Alexander Volkanovski said.

Unsurprisingly, Scott turned his attention to former All Black and football great Williams, 38, and threw down the gauntlet in his post-fight interview.

“I’ll fight anybody,” Scott said from the ring in Wollongong, before adding: “Sonny Bill makes sense.”
