A man has been charged with murder for fatally stabbing a homeless man in Melbourne’s north.
Police arrested the 42-year-old man from Broadmeadows on Tuesday afternoon after they were called to a stabbing on Warnock Street in the suburb at around 2pm.
A 32-year-old man, of no fixed address, was found dead outside a building.
Officers believe the alleged killer and the victim knew each other.
The 42-year-old was remanded in custody to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Four other people were found dead at a home in Broadmeadows on Tuesday in an unrelated incident.
Investigators are considering whether there was a drug overdose and carbon monoxide poisoning.
A family member found the four people, three men ages 37, 32 and 17, and a 42-year-old woman, dead Tuesday morning.
There was no suggestion that violence caused their deaths.
