AFL star Joel Selwood and his wife Brit are expecting their second child.
The couple announced the news on Instagram Tuesday night alongside a picture of their 16-month-old son Joey looking at a “big brother’s to-do list” and an ultrasound.
Big brother’s list of duties included: waking up at 7 am; eat all your dinner; Don’t throw balls at the baby and be kind. All the boxes were checked.
“Joey is still figuring out if he can sign the contract…he has until October,” the couple captioned the image, before adding, “We’re excited to join the family.”
It wasn’t long before the family’s happy news was flooded with well-wishers.

Joel and Brit welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Joey Victor Selwood, in February 2003.
Sharing a black and white photo of the newborn, Brit wrote: “The world just got so much better Joey Victor Selwood your mom and dad are so in love with you.”

They told the world their exciting news by sharing a photo showing the athlete holding a small soccer jersey with his player number and “dad” written on the back.
Alongside the photo, Brit wrote: “Our dreams have come true, Joel and I are grateful to be able to share that we have a little one coming into the world,” she wrote.
