Terrifying footage has emerged of a driver crashing into a motorcyclist, sending him flying into oncoming traffic in what appears to be a suspected attack of road rage.
Motorcyclist Harley Robinson, 25, pulled up next to a blue Audi sedan on Saturday night in Cranbourne, Melbourne.
The police understand that He hit the mirror of the vehicle before leaving.
Investigators were told the dispute escalated when the driver of the Audi allegedly accelerated toward the motorcyclist.
In dash cam footage from an Uber in a different lane, Mr Robinson was seen being thrown from his motorcycle and spinning in the air.
The motorcyclist is alleged to have stopped next to an Audi and hit the side mirror before driving away. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the moment before the collision to come forward.
Mr. Robinson then landed in the path of oncoming traffic, where he was struck by another vehicle.
Miraculously, the 25-year-old from Cranbourne East was taken to Alfred Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was in a stable condition.
Police revealed the 21-year-old Audi driver, from Clyde North, stopped after the collision.
Uber passenger Liam Knoppien said he went into “panic mode” when he saw the collision.
“I saw it quickly when it was on the ground and moving, but after that I couldn’t see what was happening anymore,” he said.

Jacob also said that in addition to his brother losing his “beloved motorcycle,” the collision also broke his phone, making communication difficult.
After the motorcyclist drove away, the Audi accelerated, chased the motorcycle down the embankment and ran over him. The driver was thrown into oncoming traffic and was hit by another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
On Facebook, XFC Gym Narre Warren posted an image of the hospitalized motorcyclist on a stretcher and in a neck brace.
One follower wrote: “Stay strong brother, we are all here supporting your speedy recovery,” one said.
‘This is terrible. I was pretty fit and strong so I hope that counts for a lot. ‘One of my favorite fighters, he has to get ahead!!!’ said another.
Victoria Police are investigating the road rage incident.
