Honey Buddy Cookies are available during breakfast hours for just $1 each.

Wendy’s is on a mission to brighten customers’ mornings by preparing a fan-favorite breakfast for just $1.

“Monday mornings are the saddest time of the week, so Wendy’s is waking up fans with a breakfast deal to sweeten their morning,” the company said Monday.

The fast-food chain has reintroduced Honey Buddy breakfast sandwiches, formerly called Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits, during breakfast hours, now for just $1 each.

The sandwiches, a biscuit topped with fried chicken smothered in maple butter, will be available at Wendy’s through Monday, Sept. 30.

There are a few other drawbacks to closing the deal.

Customers can only get the cash gift when purchasing another item at the same time.

While the morning snack is available every day, it can only be purchased once per week.

To get a Honey Buddy, customers can select the “$1 Breakfast Sandwich with any purchase” offer under the “Deals” tab of the Wendy’s app.

You will then be presented with the option to add a Honey Buddy and another item to your cart.

The item can also be purchased in person at restaurants by scanning the offer in the app.

Chains are reeling from falling customer numbers as Americans, fed up with two years of price hikes, stay away and are therefore launching deals.

McDonald’s last month introduced a $5 deal, which includes a McChicken or McDouble, four chicken nuggets, fries and a drink, to offer “significant value” to customers.

It was initially introduced for a short period of time and has now been extended throughout the rest of the summer in most of its restaurants.

Since its launch, the food “is meeting the goal of having guests return to our restaurants,” according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg.

From Burger King Food your way for $5 -which is very similar to McDonald’s- also arrived in restaurants in June.

Customers can choose from one of three sandwiches (a Whopper Jr, a Bacon Cheeseburger or a Chicken Jr), plus four chicken nuggets, fries and a soft drink.

Starbucks also made a surprise entry into the value wars with a $5 coffee-and-breakfast-food combo.
