Liberal media personalities were stunned by Donald Trump’s garbage truck stunt.
The co-hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe criticized the former president after he showed up at a rally in Wisconsin on Wednesday in a white garbage truck with his “Make America Great Again” slogan on the side.
Trump’s stunt was a direct troll from Democrats rushing to President Joe Biden’s defense after he called the former president’s supporters “trash.”
“The hypocrisy, Mika, over a misstatement by Joe Biden, which he quickly corrected, is so ridiculous,” Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough told co-host Mika Brzezinski during his Thursday morning broadcast. “Because this guy (Trump) does this every day.”

He then did a strident imitation of Fox News hosts when he continued: “And then you turn on Fox News and you’re like, ‘Oh, how could anyone do this?’ I’ve never seen this before in a pres…’.
Gaslighting never ends,” Scarborough said. ‘They really think their voters are that stupid. And it makes me sad for Donald Trump’s voters.
The whole “trash” debacle broke out at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday.
Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe opened the rally in midtown Manhattan with a routine that included a joke calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”
The joke was not liked by Democratic politicians and the Hispanic community.
Biden botched the administration’s response to the controversy by rejecting the insult and calling Trump supporters “trash.”
“The only trash I see floating around is his supporters,” Biden said in a phone call Tuesday. “His-his-his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable and un-American.”

The back-and-forth continued Wednesday when Trump showed up at his rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, in a white garbage truck and an orange reflective vest over a white shirt.
The crisis over this spread to several left-wing media outlets and media personalities.
CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell said on her show Monday that Hinchcliffe’s original comment was “vile” and told viewers: “Puerto Rico is an American island.” Let me say it again. Puerto Ricans are American citizens.’
