Chilling footage captured the moment a missing mother rang a doorbell and asked for clothes and water before she vanished more than a month ago.
Renee, 42, was last seen leaving her home on the Western Highway at Warrenheip in Ballarat, Victoria’s Central Highlands, at 1:25 p.m. May 30th.
They saw her carrying it Black cat Shadow in a carrier, which was found a few days later outside another home.
The 42-year-old mother has been missing for five weeks and her family is concerned for her well-being as she lives with a medical condition.
Victoria Police on Monday released new footage showing Renee ringing the doorbell of a home on Buchanan Drive in Lucas on the same day her cat was found.
“She rang the doorbell and spoke briefly to a resident inside, asking for clothing and water before leaving,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said in a statement.
CCTV footage captured at the house showed Renee wearing a pair of black leggings and a hoodie with three pandas on the front, and visibly shivering from the cold.
He pressed the doorbell while holding what appeared to be an empty water bottle in his other hand.

Renee left with two full bottles of water and has not been heard from since.
Her family is concerned for her well-being because she has a medical condition and has been missing for a long time.
Investigators are not treating her disappearance as suspicious.
They think Renee may be confused or deliberately trying to avoid people.
Victoria Police said no one has accessed his bank accounts for more than a month.
Renee is Caucasian, slim build, approximately 170 cm tall and has blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater.
