Two Chinese restaurant workers were rushed to hospital after a violent fight allegedly broke out between them at work.

New South Wales Police were called to the Crystal Seafood restaurant in Carlingford, in Sydney’s northwest, on Sunday afternoon after receiving reports of an alleged stabbing in the kitchen.

“Police were informed that two employees got into an argument before one man allegedly stabbed the other multiple times in the head, face and arms,” ​​a police statement read.

A man, aged 63, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for further treatment.

Police are investigating an alleged stabbing at Crystal Seafood restaurant in Carlingford.

Another man, 46, believed to be a chef at the restaurant was arrested at the scene.

He was taken to the hospital under police guard to receive treatment for a small head injury.

He was later released from the hospital and taken to the Gladesville police station, where he was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Monday.

Investigators established the crime scene and spent much of Sunday afternoon examining the restaurant and interviewing witnesses.

Investigations into the alleged melee continue.
