A former contestant on The Block is back in police custody after being hit with a raft of new charges.

Troubled former reality TV star turned escort Suzi Taylor, 53, was arrested after she was allegedly caught with methylamphetamine in Southport on the Gold Coast on Thursday.

Police also allege the former star was driving an unlicensed vehicle and ignored police requests to stop on Stapylton Jacobs Well Road a day earlier on Wednesday., The Costa Dorada Newsletter reported.

The former Penthouse pet, whose real name is Suellen Jan Taylor, was accused of violating a bail bond commitment she signed on August 1 when she was released from custody on separate drug trafficking charges.

The latest charges against the former The Block 2015 contestant include nighttime evasion, possession of dangerous drugs, breach of bail, driving without a license as a repeat offender and failing to stop at a red traffic arrow or stop line.

Taylor’s case was briefly mentioned at Southport Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, where it emerged he was in hospital in police custody.

The matter was adjourned until Friday for a “likely” bail application.

The arrest comes a fortnight after Taylor was released on bail for alleged drug trafficking and other offences.

Police allege he trafficked heroin, MDMA, methamphetamine and marijuana between March 24 and July 13.

Taylor is also charged with drug possession, firearms possession and more than $55,000 in alleged trafficking proceeds.

His defense attorney, Michael Gatenby, said at the Aug. 1 bail hearing that there was little evidence linking Taylor to the alleged trafficking of firearms and other items reportedly found in his storage shed.

He added that the $55,000 allegedly found on Taylor could be for her career as a “high-class escort.”

“There are links to celebrities and the like who are purportedly clients of Ms Taylor, so it’s not a controversial proposition,” he told the court at the time.

Taylor rose to fame as part of the ‘Single Mums’ makeover team on The Block alongside her then best friend Yvonne ‘Voni’ Cosier.

Even though the couple finished last on the show, they still took home a $349,000 profit.

Her crazy antics, including an infamous topless dance on a boat in Melbourne, made her one of the show’s most controversial stars.

In addition to her reality TV appearances, Taylor has previously worked as a glamour model, posing for risqué magazine photo shoots, and has also acted in the past, taking on an adult role in the 2003 crime film Gettin’ Square.

Suzi also sparked controversy in January 2016 after claiming she was in a “secret relationship” with Weekend Today show host Richard “Dickie” Wilkins.

“He gave me access to his house and I was there in my underwear waiting for him when he came home from work,” she said.

But after months of being together on the sly, Suzi said she was heartbroken when Dickie suddenly ended their romance.
