A Channel Seven News journalist responded after being insulted with a shocking insult on social media.
Adelaide-based presenter Mitchell Sariovski, 27, was targeted by homophobic trolls after posting on the Australian Radio School’s Facebook page.
In one post, a troll labelled the Sunrise presenter a “huge homosexual” and in another asked him “why do you kiss boys?”
The troll also sent Mitchell a direct message that read: “Lose some weight you fat shit sucker.”
Sariovski, who lives with his fiancée Lauren and their two children, took to Instagram to share the comments and respond to the user.
Along with screenshots of the offensive comments, the TV host wrote a caption criticizing them.
“It makes me sick to think how ignorant this man is,” Mitchell began.
“I’ve never met this guy, but he keeps sending me homophobic slurs. You shouldn’t care what people are like.”

“Lesbian, gay, bisexual, straight, transgender, non-binary… it doesn’t matter. Think before you speak,” wrote the Seven reporter.
Some of Mitchell’s followers weighed in on the post in the comments.
“What the fuck? What a complete asshole…” wrote one commenter.
Meanwhile, another suggested the journalist take a practical step.

Sariovski began his career at NBN Television in Lismore as a reporter in 2017.
He then began working with Seven as a reporter in Lismore, before moving to Albury as a police reporter for the network.
After another brief stint at Nine, he returned to Seven in 2021 and has since continued to work as a reporter in Adelaide.
