A grieving young woman is having a difficult time dealing with the shocking aftermath of witnessing her mother allegedly shot to death in the driveway of her home on a quiet suburban street.
Natalie Jane Frahm, 34, was allegedly shot in the head and chest by her neighbor Ryan Geoffrey Cole, 31, as she pulled up in her car outside her home in Robb Place, South Mackay, in the central Queensland on Wednesday afternoon.
Mrs Frahm’s daughter and a friend, aged 11 and 12, bravely ran out of the car and caught the attention of James Trevor McGill, 66, who was on the street visiting his elderly mother. He ran to help and was also allegedly shot in the chest.
Mrs Frahm died at the scene while Mr McGill was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Tiffany Mulligan, who knew Frahm from the Mang-gon Thai Boxing gym they attended together, said she has been in contact with her friend’s traumatized daughter.

The Thai boxing gym the couple attended paid tribute to Mrs Frahm on Facebook on Thursday.
“Natalie always had the most infectious smile, always helping where she could and making close friends,” the post read.
Other members of the gym expressed their surprise and also paid tribute.
“Well loved, greatly respected and will be remembered with the greatest respect,” one person wrote.

The Queensland Homicide Victim Support Group traveled to Mackay on Thursday to help provide support to Ms Frahm’s devastated family.
