Sabrina Carpenter has revealed the only place in Sydney where she feels “ugly”.
The American singer, who is opening for Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour in Australia, revealed on 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin on Friday that she is enjoying her time in Australia and exploring the sights.
She also noted that the city holds a “special” place in her heart, but admitted that Bondi Beach makes her feel “ugly” because there are so many beautiful people there.
“I’m not trying to encourage you, because I’m sure everyone always says Australia is the best, but it really is one of my favorite cities I’ve ever been to,” she said on the show.
‘I love all of Australia, but Sydney is particularly special.

“The food is amazing, everyone is attractive, everyone is really friendly. And the shows so far… The crowds have been really, really splendid. So I don’t know them, I haven’t found any red flags yet.”
Radio host Erin Molan chimed in: ‘If you want to feel ugly. Go to Bondi.
I was there yesterday and couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve never felt uglier,’ Sabrina responded.
As well as opening for Taylor’s shows, Sabrina joined the American pop singer for dinner in Sydney on Tuesday night.

She admitted Bondi Beach, in the eastern suburbs, made her feel “ugly” as there are so many handsome beachgoers there.
Sabrina and the global superstar, 34, surprised onlookers at Pellegrino 2000, a neighborhood trattoria located in Surry Hills.
The restaurant, which was voted number one in New South Wales in 2022, is the second establishment opened by acclaimed chefs Daniel Pepperell and Michael Cliff and sommelier Andy Tyson, who also run the popular Bistrot 916 in Potts Point.
Pellegrino 2000 has dozens of celebrity fans, including Channel Nine’s Sylvia Jeffreys, MasterChef Australia’s Melissa Leong, Farmer Wants a Wife presenter Samantha Armytage, radio presenter Kate Ritchie, cricket WAG Emma Lyon and podcast host Abbie Chatfield.

The self-described “neighborhood trattoria” is known as much for its Italian food as it is for its wine.

Taylor and Sabrina arrived in Australia last week and have already performed three shows in Melbourne from February 16-18.
The pop star had a few days off and will take the stage in Sydney from February 23 to 26.
He is scheduled to perform in Singapore starting March 2, giving him only four days off between shows.
