According to a report from the Fulton County Medical Examiner in Georgia, according to TMZThe star died of an accidental overdose with a mixture of several drugs in his system, including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine and promethazine.
THC (cannabis) was also found in his system, but the other substances caused his death from shock.
In the report, there were no signs of trauma on his body and his death was officially ruled an accident.

Shortly after his death, Rich Homie Quan’s final moments were revealed in a frantic 911 call from his girlfriend.
Amber Williams, who has two children with the rapper, reported that the rapper was not breathing, had no heartbeat and began foaming at the mouth when she turned him over, according to audio obtained by TMZ.
The musician, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, had been asleep on the living room couch since the night before and had never gone to bed, according to Williams.
Thinking he was still asleep from the night before, Williams said she placed a blanket over her boyfriend before taking her son to school.
‘Now, I just checked it again because it never got up. “I don’t feel his heartbeat, I don’t see him breathing,” he said.
The operator had trouble hearing her, but once Williams confirmed that Lamar was not breathing, he sent paramedics immediately.
The dispatcher then attempts to coach Williams to perform CPR on Lamar and asks him to lay him face up on the ground.

Lamar was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving behind his girlfriend and four children.
His family told him TMZ They are “devastated and heartbroken” by the sudden loss just a month before their 35th birthday.
He was due to perform in his hometown in a few weeks at Nick Cannon’s Wild N’ Out alongside the likes of Wacka Flocka and Nardo Wick.
A Fulton County Mortuary representative also confirmed the news of his death last month at the time of his death, while other musicians had fueled online rumors of a drug overdose.
Fellow rapper Playboi Carti was among those who paid tribute to the late star, posting several clips of him on his Instagram stories.
Lamar hit the charts in 2013 with his single Type of Way, which peaked at No. 50 on the Billboard Top 100 at its peak. He continued with Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh) and Ride Out.
He achieved greater fame as part of the group Rich Gang, alongside Atlanta rapper Young Thug, as part of a Cash Money Records project.

Lamar was due to testify at the trial of his former bandmate Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, accused of street gang activity.
