A dog walker was branded

A “selfish” dog walker has been criticised for leaving his car in a private car park for a day in an exclusive Sydney suburb.

The disgruntled resident berated the driver in a wordy handwritten note after parking his car in Cremorne, on the city’s north coast, this week.

“These are private spaces and are marked as such. You knew that when you parked here this morning and ran out with your two dogs,” they wrote.

‘Staying here all day when the owner of the space has had to park somewhere else is selfishness and entitlement on another level.

‘There were free spaces on the street when you parked here, but you knew that too.’

The author, who signed the note marked ‘karma’, told the driver to park his vehicle somewhere else next time.

“Your car details have been recorded. Please don’t come here again, take your selfishness somewhere else, thank you,” they wrote.

Locals were quick to applaud the author after a photo of the letter was posted to a community Facebook page this week.

“It’s actually nice and polite and not painful,” one group member wrote.

“Karma writes well,” said another.

“The irony is lost in the writer’s selfishness, who believes he is entitled to a reserved space in the car as if he were royalty,” a third person shared.

“What a beautiful letter,” added a fourth.

Others shared their own parking dilemmas in the comments.

“This happened to me a few years ago when I lived in Cammeray. They disappeared for over four hours,” one person wrote.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted North Sydney City Council for comment.
