Simone Biles insists she’s “never been happier” as the gymnast adjusts to life in the US after more Olympic glory.
Biles was among the stars of this summer’s Paris Games, winning three gold medals and cementing herself as gymnastics’ biggest star.
The 27-year-old was cheered on in Paris by her husband Jonathan Owens, a safety for the NFL’s Chicago Bears.
The couple have now reunited in the US and on Monday night Biles shared a selfie from her bed at home. “I’ve never been so happy,” the caption read.

She toasted her success in the French capital with a party with her sister, Adria, at L’Arc Paris, a Paris nightclub.
“If you see me at the club, please tell me to go home,” Biles joked in the clip shared on her Instagram Story. “For my own good and for my health in the morning.”
Biles was a standout for the U.S. team, which finished atop the medal standings at the Paris Olympics.
The 27-year-old won gold in the women’s individual all-around, the team all-around and the vault.
The American also took silver in the women’s floor competition in Paris.
