Olivia Dunne has shared her boyfriend Paul Skenes’ reaction to her participation in the documentary ‘The Money Game’ on Amazon Prime Video.
Dunne, along with former LSU athletes Angel Reese and Jayden Daniels, will appear in the six-part documentary series about the effect of altered name, image and likeness (NIL) rules on the college sports landscape.
And when talking about Good morning America On Tuesday, he explained how Skenes, himself a former LSU baseball star (and now a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates), was actually part of the project.
“He was actually in Baton Rouge in the fall and is featured in the documentary series,” he said.
“He had a lot of fun filming it with me. He’s excited to see the finished product.”

Dunne spoke on Good Morning America about how NIL has impacted her life and career.
The documentary premieres today, September 10, and will shed light on how Dunne and others have monetized their fame since the NCAA changed NIL rules in 2021 to allow student-athletes to make money off their personal brands.
Dunne, who will return for her fifth year as an LSU gymnast, signed a multimillion-dollar contract with Passes in the spring and has also worked with Nautica, Motorola, Forever 21 and more.
Its NIL valuation has been set at $3.9 million by En3.com.
“The opportunities that the change in regulations has given me have changed my life,” she told GMA. “It’s been a huge blessing and being able to work with brands that I didn’t have the opportunity to work with before has been a dream come true.”
Dunne attended the show’s premiere last week at LSU’s Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Asked if receiving a salary had taken away her “hunger” for gymnastics, she replied in the negative.
“I definitely don’t think so. I think for women’s sports it’s really important to take advantage of your NIL while you’re still in college because there aren’t a lot of professional sports afterward, so I think that’s important,” she said.

She and her fellow gymnastics teammates will look to repeat as national champions when their season begins in the winter.
