Since his first post in 2019, OJ Simpson had acquired a vocal presence on Twitter.

When OJ Simpson opened his Twitter account in June 2019, he posted a video saying he “had a little bit to do.” Since then, he continued to publish his thoughts and opinions until his death on Thursday at age 76.

They focused mainly on football, a sport in which he became famous and made a living for several years.

But they also focused on politics, health and legal advice. Simpson even offered advice to President Donald Trump and convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh.

His final days involved him squashing rumors that he had suffered a heart attack or was in hospice care, and his last tweet showed Simpson giving his Super Bowl prediction.

DailyMail.com takes a look at Simpson’s Twitter ramblings that earned him a large online following over the years.

Simpson first posted to Twitter on June 14, 2019, about two years after being released from prison for a robbery in Las Vegas.

He posted a video with the final message: “This should be a lot of fun, I still have a little left to do.”

During his time on the app, Simpson loved to share his thoughts and opinions on certain events happening in the world of football.

That included his take on last year’s Heisman race and even the controversy surrounding Florida State’s exclusion from the College Football Playoff.

‘It would have been difficult to put [Georgia] versus Alabama, who just beat them,’ Simpson said of the latter topic in a tweet titled ‘I think they did well!’

“I’m sure the only reason Florida State didn’t get in is because they lost their quarterback.”

But Simpson, who was acquitted of murder but served time for robbery, was often asked to weigh in on legal matters and give advice to those facing crimes similar to those with which he was charged.

Among them was Alex Murdaugh, who was convicted of murder and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences.

‘A lot of people ask me what I think about this Alex Murdaugh trial. “I don’t know why they think I’m an expert on that,” Simpson said, laughing.

He addressed Murdaugh’s lies and his theft, while drawing parallels to his own imprisonment for theft.

‘When I caught some guys stealing my stolen property, the state of California, after I was convicted, ruled that it was my property and handed it over to me. So I have it now.

‘So how do you go to jail for catching guys trying to sell your stolen property? Well, however, I think this guy [Murdaugh] Most likely he did.

Simpson also provided legal advice to President Donald Trump and gave him insight into what his lawyers told him during the Trial of the Century.

‘The only thing [my lawyers] He told me everything and stressed to me: do not talk about the case publicly, do not do interviews about the case. [They] He threatened to resign if he did that.
