Liam and Noel Gallagher will announce the long-awaited return of Oasis next week, it has been reported.

The feuding brothers appear to have put aside their differences and have reportedly reached a secret agreement for a series of concerts next summer.

A source close to the musician said Liam and Noel had secretly reconnected and had both agreed to the reunion, “much to the surprise of those around them.”

They said The sunThere will be shows in the UK next summer and both Noel and Liam are excited to get back out there together.

Fans were thrown into a panic this morning as rumours began to circulate about the iconic Britpop band reuniting.

Liam and Noel are believed to be confirming the news next week and are speculated to be set to headline Glastonbury together, as well as 10 Wembley shows in 2025, breaking Taylor Swift’s recent record at the venue.

Liam dropped a hint about a reunion earlier today to add fuel to the rumor fire by writing on X: “Never liked that word EX.”

Next Wednesday will mark 15 years since Noel sensationally quit Oasis “with great relief” following a backstage row in Paris saying: “I simply couldn’t work with Liam for another day.”

The Mail on Sunday has learned that the Gallagher brothers have been told Glastonbury bosses would love for them to headline the 2025 festival following criticism over this year’s headline acts.

Organisers of next year’s event at Worthy Farm, Somerset, are determined to secure big new names for headline slots. Music industry sources told the Mail on Sunday that an Oasis reunion now looks “more feasible than it has for years”.

And fans couldn’t be happier, as X wrote about their excitement over the weekend, with many of their middle-aged fans joking that they’ll need to arrange childcare as soon as possible so they can get to Glastonbury to see them.

As well as Glastonbury, The Times reports they could play 10 nights at Wembley and, if it goes ahead, would break the record set by Taylor on her Eras Tour this summer.

The Cruel Summer singer, 34, played eight shows at the north London venue to delight audiences in June and August, becoming the first solo artist to play the stadium that many times.

She told the screaming audience: ‘I’ve become the first solo artist to play Wembley eight times in a single tour!’
