Darius retired from first-class football in 2020 after a distinguished career playing for the Broncos, as well as St. George and the Newcastle Knights.
He married Kayla in 2012.
The couple share three children: daughters Willow, eight, Romi Yves, four, and Gia, three.
In April they shared that they were expecting a fourth child, a boy, due in August.
