Natalie Cassidy has revealed the real reason why she has not yet married her partner Marc Humphreys.
The EastEnders actress, 41, and the BBC cameraman began dating in 2014 before getting engaged a year later and welcoming daughter Joanie in 2016. She is also mother to Eliza, 14, from a relationship former.
But after a long engagement, the lovebirds still haven’t planned their big day and Natalie admits what’s holding her back.
Speaking with Jen Brister and Kerry Godliman at the memory lane On the podcast, the soap star revealed that she is “a bit of a snob.”

The EastEnders actress, 41, and the BBC cameraman began dating in 2014 before getting engaged a year later and welcoming daughter Joanie in 2016.
‘I’ll make it small but I want to be at The Ledbury. Oh, I want a Michelin star meal or I’m just a bit of a real snob.
“I’ll want the best flowers and a designer suit,” Natalie admitted.
The couple met while Marc is working as a cameraman on EastEnders.
While his job is to stay behind the scenes, viewers were able to see Marc during the soap opera special Secrets From The Square.
In 2020, when the show was kicked off the air for the first time in its 35-year history due to the pandemic, it was replaced by a spin-off show that recalled classic episodes.
During one episode, viewers were surprised when Marc made a surprise cameo.
Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale on the show, made the reference when host Stacey Dooley joked that the cast and crew were too close for social distancing protocols.
Adam joked, “He’s with Nat,” and then joked that that’s the only reason they were friends.
Speaking to Jen Brister and Kerry Godliman on the Memory Lane podcast, the soap star revealed she’s “a bit of a snob” when it comes to planning her wedding.
The couple met while Marc was working as a cameraman on EastEnders (Natalie appears as Sonia Fowler in the soap).
He added: ‘Actually, we don’t mean it. We can’t stand Marc. But we have to be nice to him because he’s with Nat.
Visibly surprised, Stacey exclaimed: ‘Oh, are you? Are you Sonia’s husband? Oh, that’s amazing.’
While Marc stayed busy filming the docu-series, Natalie stayed home and did not appear in any of the 14 episodes.
